Upliftment of Villages: Udbodh events March 5-8

All of you are cordially invited from March 5 to March 8 a series of Udbodh events at midst and heart of an Indian Village. Those who can not be present physically are requested to cooperate and participate virtually, mentally, spiritually and financially:

FEW FACTS
Villager
  • Villages are heart of India, embodiment of simplicity and productivity. They produce the most and consume the least. Truly economic!!!
  • Economy of a village revolves round farming and animal husbandry - harvesting the best of plant and animal kingdom both! Preserves the nature and environment!!
  • Devastating state of our farms, farmers and villages started during British Rule and continues till date... No independence movement could be raised without addressing and including villages into it. Congress was just a group of handful lawyers (confined to debates) before Mahatma Gandhi could harness the power of villages and farmers towards it. To our surprise, we  have got the independence but state of villages continues to be the same!!!!!
  • In widely diversified India, one thing  is common - the wretched state of villages and farmers, from Gujarat to Assam, from Himalayas to Kanya-Kumari.  Be it a village of mountains or of plains, near sea-shore, of woods or of an island - all share the same story.
  • Do you know slowly villages are dying? Millions of farmers/villagers are leaving farms and migrating to already crowded cities. Politicians have no vision except to exploit them for votes.
  • Villages are true heritage of India. Save Villages if you wish to save India!
  • See the attached pics of villagers. Never mistake these peasants as ignorant / immature human beings. They might be helpless today but not ignorant. Through enormous wealth of our literature like Panchtantra, Mahabharat, Ramayna and by Actual Direct Exposure to nature they are quite mature individuals. Indian and Indian culture has sailed through tens of thousands of years of arena on this planet because of THEM ONLY.

  • We, for whom English and western styled degrees are the only sign of education and culture,  are the most immature and dangerous species present on this planet.
  • Today, the same urban evils, like selfishness, corruption, use of liquor and money in Panchayat-elections are entering into the villages as well. We have to do something before they fully pollute the system.

Let's make villages the self reliant, neat, clean, hygienic ideal place for living endowed with modern facilities of transport, internet and entertainments. This all must happen without playing with simplicity of village life.

Udbodh Sanstha is regularly holding edu, medical and other camps in villages since it's very inception.
