The heart and voice of Indian Music: Hemant Brijwasi

(Some people are totally out of the world, divine and are here only for a divine purpose)

We all love music. Like other fields, - science, math, medicines, and arts -,  the Indian ancient brains/hearts have dwelt deep in the field of music as well, which goes beyond the ordinary reaches. Every music is thrilling and refreshing be it folk, filmy, pop, rock, simple, classical - whatever. The beats, rhythms and the octave (seven notes)  always initiate goose-bumps in the human heart. The specialty of Indian classical is that it directly opens the doors to soul, everlasting bliss, love and the truth. If you have never been drawn into meditation and have got established in the true self by any piece of music then I'll say you have totally missed the power of music.

Though there have been a lot of wonderful singers but barring a few efforts (movies), bollywood could never satisfy my thirst of music. I always wondered  why despite the great inheritance and tradition of Indian music, bollywood is so superficial in its approach to it. One day I happened to listen the same songs sung by a kid Hemant Brijwasi. I was surprised that he was magically transforming every filmy song into music bombs. It is because of this boy that I started watching saregamapa. You yourself can listen and feel the difference in the links below. Then, after a few years, I happened to listen another such sparkling, sacred and out of the world classical voice. Yes a young female Sniti Mishra, who was well trained in India classical, with her all originality, demonstrated that all the rubbish we have been listening to can be greatly enhanced with the depth and touch of classical.  'Divinity' is what these two singers brought to every piece of music they touched on their way. I salute their efforts and I salute to the kind of training they have got. Wish a day when bollywood and its audience at large will accept nothing less than this. I am so happy to present their songs here on the eve of holi:
