The truest, selfless and the one living up for the greater causes of life (सत्य एवं ज्ञान ही हैं लक्ष्य) , do face invincible challenges and grave circumstances, which seem to shake their faith and belief in the truthful principles. Then...they sing the poems below. They never give up the broad goal and mission of their life:
Father of Vishnu (vishnu was later known as Chaanakya / Kautilya) was Chanak, who died after leaving the following words for his son to live up : ...
It shows that a true leader and visinary can not limit himself in individual and family cocoons.
This episode of serial chandragupta maurya is not full of action but is very valuable. Chanakya lost all his confidence after the defeat, after reaching so close to his goal. Then the above words from his father's poem sung by Chandragupta made him revive his confidence. It reminds me of a few lines of poem, which my father used to utter to us:-
(Fraught with failures and devoid of any path)
(No money but a lot of works to accomplish)
(Give up not, never give up, just make efforts !)
(See in failure the victory, in night the day)
(For sure, the sun will arise... away on the horizon)
Never give Up, Just make efforts...
(Agony becomes happiness, and happiness becomes pain)
(for strivers failures, success, joy and pain loose their usual meanings)
(Fialure becomes victory and victories are failures)
Never give up oh striver but make efforts.....

(Forward in receiving garlands)
(you run away from thorns and dificulties)
(What ?) you can not even tolerate blisters ???)
( oh traveller, then, what kind of a striver or companion you are???)
The other things to learn from this episode are:
True captain never hesitates in accepting his errors and failures.
True captain is always aware of his reponsibilities especially towards his followers who put in his all belief in him.
'No partial achievements but his Goal in toto' can only make him happy.
